On Sunday morning at the Secret Garden Party, Is Land was cut free by vandals, setting it free to float around the earth's atmosphere. It was picked up by some national newspapers including The Times and The Guardian as well as being published on numerous blogs around the world.

Using the HYSPLIT model, it was predicted to have floated east towards Europe.
Many sightings were reported from around the world.
"This is interesting!!! On Aug. 1st. at 11:30 pm I sighted a very strange object in the south Alberta, Canada sky. It was like a light mass but very dim; moving horizantally west at a medium slow/fast speed. It seemed in orbit. It was approx. 4 fists above horizon. The object was vertical in shape."

"From my window this "Is Land" appeared for me over Geneva and floated on the Leman's lake direction East-nord-east Lausanne. It floated with the two red mushrooms down and this darker pointed part and was difficult to understand what it was without seing the picture. I thought it was a great bunch of ballons."

The whereabouts is still unknown, but another version of Is Land was made in time for Burning Man festival in Nevada, USA.
